CHN Healthcare Sustainability Resource Team

Did you know that healthcare accounts for 8-10% of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S.? Let’s change that!

The CHN Healthcare Sustainability Resource Team empowers members to learn about, collaborate, and advance sustainable practices within their health and hospital systems in California. Members of this Resource Team learn and share resources to advance specific sustainability initiatives in their workplaces.

CHN Speaks Resource Team

In the words of Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, climate scientist and author,"the most important thing we can do about climate change is talk about it." Launching this year, CHN Speaks aims to enable members of the California health community to talk to their peers and colleagues about climate change, health, and equity. Each presentation will have a concrete “ask” that helps galvanize members of the health community to join us and take collective action to further the climate health movement. Even if you have never given a talk like this, we believe that you absolutely have the ability to, and we want to help you do it!

Are you a member of the California health community interesting in talking to your health colleagues about climate, health, and equity in a way that calls them in to action? Let us know by filling out this quick form — and a CHN Speaks Coach will be in touch.
